Donald S. Baker ’49 died on February 9, 2017, in Nashua, New Hampshire.

NASHUA – Donald S. Baker, 89, died peacefully Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his family. Donald is the beloved husband of Jane (Robinson) Baker with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Donald was born in Boston, MA on February 28, 1927 and was raised in Newton, MA. He was the son of the late Donald M. Baker and Margarette (Sleeper) Baker.
Prior to his retirement, Donald was employed by the Bank of Boston as Vice President for many years.
In his free time, Donald enjoyed golfing and took an interest in local race cars. He treasured his memory of playing drums with the DB Band at the Governor’s Ball and in his younger years, during college worked as a ski patrol. He was also a member of the American Macular Degeneration Foundation. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Leslie L. Millon of Lexinton, MA and his two grandchildren, Julia Sleeper Millon and Nicholas Baker Millon.
