William F. Clark ’47 died March 19, 2013, in Hingham, Mass. He was born in Winthrop, Mass., on May 20, 1926, and prepared for college at Winthrop (Mass.) Senior High School and at Mt. Hermon School. Roland D. Mann ’47 died March 11, 2012, in Newton, N.J. He was born on June 24, 1926, in Boston, to Roland William Mann, Bowdoin class of 1892, and prepared for college at Bangor High School. He attended Bowdoin from 1943 to 1944, a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity, and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maine in 1951, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a master’s degree in linguistics from New York University in 1965. He was born in Boston on February 28, 1926, and graduated from Melrose (Mass.) High School.
