Robert C. Bryant ’47 died April 22, 2013, in Bedford, Mass. He was born in Boston on October 12, 1925, moved to Edgecomb in 1935, and prepared for college at Lincoln Academy. He served to lieutenant junior grade in the Navy during World War II. After graduating from Bowdoin, he earned a master’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1952. He worked in various capacities for Sylvania Electric for more than twenty years. He served as a Town Meeting member in Winchester, Mass., from 1967 to 1976. He is survived by sons Stephen and Douglas; daughter Marjorie; sisters Joan Myatt and Ruth Bryant; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased in 2001 by his wife, Barbara Chandler Bryant, whom he married on September 2, 1950.
