Richard Paul Zollo ’47

Richard Paul Zollo ’47 died on December 18, 2017, in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Richard Paul “Dick” Zollo passed away in San Francisco at the age of 91 on December 18, 2017, after an extended illness. Richard was born in Danvers, MA on September 30th, 1926 to Paul and Astrid Zollo, and received his EdD from Boston University. Richard was married to Virginia Sherry (deceased) for 46 years. Richard worked as an English Faculty Member at Salem State College after teaching at Danvers and Masconomet High Schools. He authored and collaborated on numerous books and articles on local history, and was deeply involved with the Danvers Historical Society and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. Richard is survived by his son Peter N. Zollo and his daughter-in-law Laurie, as well as many loved ones.
