Philip C. Boggs ’56 died on January 21, 2015, in Savannah, Georgia.

Philip Clifton Flip Boggs, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Memorial University Medical Center. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of Bill and Jean Boggs. He was a 1952 graduate of Shady Side Academy and a 1956 graduate of Bowdoin College in Maine. Flip was the head of North American Automotive Paint Sales with PPG Industries. Flip was passionate and was loved by all of his friends. He loved his family, Buddy, the dog park, and most of all, his friends in Christ at Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Patricia M. Boggs; children, Cliff and wife, Beth, Joe and Nancy; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
