I cast Brian as the lead actor in a film I made for Barbara Kaster’s “Flicks” course at Bowdoin, and he was just right for the part, provided the convincing shyness the role demanded. He was a nice person to talk with, too, soft-spoken but honest and intelligent, as he showed in the philosophy course we took together. He will be sorely missed by all. Rest in peace, Brian.
