Bruce N. Cooper ’54 died on April 9, 2021 in Bellingham, Washington.
(The following was provided by family)
Bruce Cooper died peacefully in Bellingham, Washington, where he had been living for the last two years.
Born in Connecticut, he attended the King School in Stamford before joining Bowdoin, followed by military service in Korea with the Army Signal Corps. He spent most of his working life in California creating working spaces for high tech companies in Silicon Valley. Following retirement, he and his wife cruised America, Canada, Alaska, and Mexico in a magnificent motor home, finally settling in Arizona.
A great guy, good wit, fun ’til the end, he loved travel adventures and meeting people, almost as much as he loved his memories of Alpha Delta Phi and Bowdoin. He is survived by his wife, Karen, three children and six grandchildren, all living in Washington state, plus a sister in Switzerland.
