David B. Kitfield ’46 died on January 18, 2018, in Carrollton, Georgia.

David Brewster Kitfield Senior, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 18. He was 94 years old, and a force of nature. David was a Marine Corps fighter pilot and World War II veteran, a yachtsman, successful businessman, and accomplished pianist. He graduated from Bowdoin College, and spent most of his working life in Atlanta. He retired to Carrollton with his loving wife of fifty years, Bobbi Kitfield, a Carrollton native. Besides Bobbi, David is survived by his children Allison, Charlotte, David Jr., and James, and his grandchildren Severino, Chris, Skylar, Ben, and Alexandria. Rest in peace, you will be greatly missed, David.
