William David Levin ’37 died on July 21, 2009, in Waltham, Massachusetts.

He was born in Bath on October 11, 1915, and graduated from Morse High School. He graduated from the Tufts College Dental School in 1941, and then served in the Army Dental Corps during World War II, attaining the rank of captain. He is survived by a son, Howard A. Levin; and two brothers Jesse H. Levin ’39 and Robert Levin. He was predeceased in 1971 by his first wife, Marion Schaffer Levin, to whom he was married for 26 years; by his second wife, Sylvia Levison Levin, and by his brother, Robert D. Levin ’47.
