Guy Vernon Campbell ’30 died on January 18, 2004, in the Maine town of Clifton.

 

 

Guy Vernon Campbell ’30 died on January 18, 2004, in the Maine town of Clifton. Born on March 26, 1905, in Amherst, ME, he prepared for college at Bangor High School and became a member of Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity at Bowdoin, which he attended in 1926-27. He worked as a carpenter, millwright, electrician, and facilities engineer through the years, retiring in 1970. He was a member and deacon of the Clifton United Baptist Church and a member of the East Eddington Grange. He was married in 1930. His wife, Imogene, died in 1996. He is survived by a son, Vernon Campbell of Clifton; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great- great-grandchildren.
