Harold Lawson McLellan ’42

Harold Lawson McLellan ’42 died on March 21, 2003, in Ocala, Florida.

Born on December 2, 1937, in Roxbury, MA, he prepared for college at Belmont (MA) High School and Worcester Academy in Massachusetts and became a member of Theta Delta Chi Fraternity at Bowdoin. Following his graduation in 1942, he served as a pilot with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II from 1943 to 1946. For some years, he was a salesman with Pitney-Bowes Company in Massachusetts and later worked in Chicago, IL. By 1987, he had retired and was living on Chebeague Island in Maine. He is survived by his wife, Joy McLellan; a son, Douglas McLellan of Freeport; and a daughter, Elizabeth M. Farrell.
