John J. Hamson ’72 died August 25, 2014, in Savannah, Ga. He was born on August 7, 1950, in Lynn, Mass., and graduated from Lynn English High School, a member of the National Honor Society. He was a member of Alpha Kappa Sigma fraternity, a dean’s list student and a George F. Baker Scholar at Bowdoin. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration at Rutgers University in 1973. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hamson; father John Hamson Sr.; brothers Barry and Brian Hamson; sister Ellen Koopman; step-son Scott Zinck, and step-daughter Meghan Palleria
