John K. Martin ’63 died on April 10, 2021 in Hampton, New Hampshire.

John K. Martin, 79, of Hampton, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Cornerstone of Hampton where he resided the past two years. John was a longtime Hampton resident. He was born in Manchester, June 10, 1941, the son of the late Sylvio C. and Pauline K. (Hayes) Martin.
John attended Manchester schools and graduated from Bowdoin College with the Class of 1963. He worked in accounting for the State of New Hampshire and retired in 2008 after forty-two years of service.
He was an active member and past worshipful master of St. James Lodge F. & A.M. of Hampton and served as secretary for ten years. He was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies of Dover & Portsmouth, the NH Consistory Valley of Nashua and Bektash Temple Shrine of Concord. He was a life member of the Masonic Police Four Square Club, member and secretary of the East Gate Masonic Club, and member of the Masonic Group of National Sojourners #386, Anniversary Lodge #175 and the Portsmouth Shrine Club.
He leaves one sister, Beatrice Gestrich of Oviedo, FL and a niece, Kimberly Johnson of Austin, TX.
