Juan Paul Domenech ’31 died on October 18, 2005, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

Born on January 28, 1909, he prepared for college at Central High School in San Puerto Rico and attended Bowdoin for a year before entering the U.S. Naval Academy in 1928. Following his graduation there in 1932, he served in the U.S. Navy until retiring in 1955 as a commander, after serving on several ships during World War II.
