Kerry G. Reynolds ’71 died on April 21, 2015, in Randolph, Vermont.

Kerry G. Reynolds, 65, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home in Randolph.
He was born December 10, 1949 in Hartland, Maine, the son of Francis and Achsah Reynolds. He was raised in the small town of Cambridge, Maine, received a bachelor’s degree in physics from Bowdoin College, and his master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Southern Maine. Following his career and seeking small town values, he settled in Randolph to raise his family. He worked as an underwriter, notably as Director of Underwriting and VP of Actuarial for Blue Cross Blue Shield, before continuing his career self-employed in later years. His work brought him to Kazakhstan (twice) and Palestine (once) on U.S. government-funded projects. He served as Director for Montague Golf Club for twelve years, as well as Director for Randolph Area Community Development Corporation for two years. He had a strong analytical and mathematical mind, good sense of humor, and skill for fine carpentry. Passions included golf, cooking, woodworking, firearms, the outdoors, and always, his two sons Tommy and Jimmy.
He is survived by his two sons, Thomas Reynolds of Milton and James Reynolds of Burlington; four brothers, Gilbert Reynolds and Martin Reynolds of Maine, Keith Reynolds of Virginia, and Clark Reynolds of Idaho; and a sister, Sharon Reynolds of Maine. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Craig Reynolds.
