Kevin F. Chen ’19 died on August 14, 2025, in Sugar Land, Texas.

Kevin Fakai Chen, born on August 2, 1998, passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 27. A resident of Sugar Land, Texas, Kevin was known for being adventurous, compassionate, hard-working, kind-hearted, thoughtful, patient, resilient, inspirational, gentle, cherished, humorous, beloved, and brave.

Kevin graduated from Clements High School in 2015. He pursued higher education at Bowdoin College, where he graduated in 2019 with a double major in math and computer science and a minor in economics. His professional journey began at Epic, where he developed medical software. He later transitioned into the financial industry, working for Wolverine Trading and Two Sigma.

A musical genius, Kevin played the piano with exceptional talent, even performing at Carnegie Hall. He was also a passionate musician and enjoyed playing video games in his leisure time.

Kevin is survived by his brother and both of his parents
