L. Joseph Hickey ’63

Lawrence Joseph Hickey, 83, of Marblehead, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his home. He was born on September 15, 1941, in Frye, ME, the son of Thomas and Thelma (Philbrick) Hickey. He graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine, where he was the co-captain of the football team. He married Mary Ann Twohig on February 13, 1962. He retired in 2004 from CSI Supply Co. where he was the president and owner. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH.

Surviving are his wife: Mary Ann; son: William James (Terry) Hickey of Westerville, OH; daughters: Jennifer (Kevin) Holobaugh of Marblehead, Shannon (Aaron) Willoughby on Marblehead; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and sister Norreen Fernands of Searsport, ME. He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and two sisters.
