Michael A. Ryan ’72 died on April 4, 2023, in Winter Park, Florida.

Michael A. Ryan ’72

Michael Ryan passed peacefully in his Winter Park home on April 4, 2023. Born in Biddeford, ME, in 1950, he is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, daughter Dawn White, son-in-law John White, and granddaughter Catherine White. He also leaves his siblings Stephen, Virgilia, and William, along with sister-in-law Sue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Virgilia Ryan, and brother Bernard. Michael was a graduate of Bowdoin College and the University of Connecticut School of Law. He enjoyed a career of over forty-five years at the law firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, et.al., where he was a shareholder specializing in real estate law. Mike was committed to the Central Florida community with board memberships in many civic and charitable organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, The Red Cross, The Orlando Lutheran Towers, Interlachen Country Club, and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Michael had a great love of Ireland, where he and Theresa were wrapped in the love of the extended Hogan family.
