Nicholas A. Arndt ’60 died on August 26, 2019 in Durango, Colorado.

Nick Arndt, class of 1956, died at home August 26, 2019, surrounded and supported by family.

Becca wrote this tribute Sept 4 on Facebook:

“Just over a week ago the world lost the kindest person I ever knew. Nicholas A. Arndt, my dad. He died at home, as he had wished, after a heroic fight with cancer.

He always saw the very best in everyone he was in contact with. He loved animals- dogs best of all. He loved the Broncos, hockey and baseball. He was a master fisherman, marksman, pilot, business owner. He was an incredible friend. As mom said” He was our rock…” . He was a gentle steady presence in our lives. He always knew where we were and when we were home and ready to hear our tales of adventure. I miss him dearly and am grateful that he’s free from struggle. Love him.”
