Richard B. Drisko ’51 died on September 21 2017, in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Richard B. “Dick” Drisko, 88, of Hollis, NH died September 21, 2017 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a period of failing health.
He was born in Newton, MA November 25, 1928 the son of Harold P. and Ruth (Thompson) Drisko. He grew up in Wellesley Hills, MA and graduated from Wellesley High School. He attended Kimball Union Academy and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1951. He later served two years in the US Air Force.
He worked in sales of specialty wood products, beginning his career with the Koppers Company. He worked for a time with New England Pole and spent most of his career at the George McQuesten Company of Billerica, MA where he was a Vice President and General Manager of the For-Tek division. He retired in 1993.
Dick was a longtime resident of Hollis NH and was very active in town politics. He served on numerous town and church committees for many years. He also served 6 terms in the NH State Legislature from 2000 to 2012.
He had summered in Ogunquit, ME for many years and was a longtime member of the York Golf & Tennis Club. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth (Gray) Drisko in 1997 and by his sister, Ruth M. Rogers in 2007.
Family members include his wife of 19 years, Katherine Pearson Drisko of Hollis, NH; three children, R. Lindsay Drisko and his wife, Susan, of Sharon, MA, Katherine Metivier and her husband, Marc, of Hooksett, NH and John T. Drisko and his wife, Cynthia Boothby, of Gorham, ME; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
