Robert D. Blair ’60 died on October 19, 2024, in Scotch Hills, New Jersey.

Robert Dustin Blair, 86 of Scotch Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday October 19, 2024, with his family by his side.

Robert (Bob) was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, to Della (Dustin) and Raymond on June 1, 1938. He graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine. He received his bachelor’s degree at Bowdoin College where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He received his master’s degree in business from Rutgers University. Bob earned his CPA at the University of the State of New York. He started at Price Waterhouse in 1963 and became a partner in 1974. He retired as the longest-serving  partner for Price Waterhouse in 1995.

Bob was an avid Boston Red Sox fan as well as a New York Giants fan. Bob was a member and treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association. Bob supported the Boys and Girls Club of Newark. Bob was active with the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of Plainfield Country Club for over thirty years, as well as a member of the Manhattan Club in NYC.

Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Anne D. Blair, and their three sons, Bradford, Scott, and James (Jeb), his grandson, John Robert (Teri); and his great-granddaughter, Indy Rose
