Robert Dunlap ’53 died on February 14, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Born on July 10, 1932, in Harrisburg, Penn., he prepared for college at Camp Hill High School in Camp Hill, Penn, and became a member of Chi Psi Fraternity at Bowdoin. Following his graduation cum laude, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1955. He then attended the University of Michigan Law School, from which he graduated in 1958. He practiced law with the firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen in Denver, Colo., from 1958 to when he returned to the University of Michigan to teach for a year. He returned to Colorado and practiced law in Colorado Springs for the next 47 years. He served on the Colorado Supreme Court Board of Bar Examiners and was a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Jody) Dunlap, whom he married in 1967; two daughters, Carolyn and Teri; a son, David; and a grandson.
