Stanwood T. Harting ’51 died on November 14, 2015, in Apache Junction, Arizona.

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — Stanwood T. Harting, 85, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, In Apache Junction, Ariz.
In 1955, he married Elizabeth J. (Betty) Cloutier and resided in Rumford for 40 years. Stan retired from Boise Cascade in the early 1990s. Betty passed away in 1988.
After his retirement, he married Edla Carlson. They traveled the country in their RV and settled in Apache Junction, Ariz. During his retirement years, he enjoyed playing golf and was a passionate and committed volunteer at the Paz de Cristo Outreach Center Food Pantry in Mesa, Ariz.
He is survived by his wife, Edla; and his children, Bruce and his wife, Paula, of Dixfield, Gail Thompson and her husband, Mark, of Peru, Diane Doiron and her husband, Daniel, of Brunswick and Brian and his partner, Stacey Virgin, of Dixfield; his grandchildren, Kevin Harting, Kristi Harting, Erin Hernandez, Brodie Thompson, Jonathan Doiron, Jenny Doiron, Haylee Jameson and Taya Harting; and his great-grandchildren, Jason Harting, Jasper Harting, Gavin Harting and McKayla O’Brien.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Theriault.
