Thomas A. Edsell ’74 died on December 2, 2020 in Nokomis, Florida.

On Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, Thomas Alan Edsell passed away peacefully at his home in Nokomis, Florida, at the age of 68.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and his uncle, Bill. He is survived by his loving wife, Oksana, his daughter and son-in-law, Anastasia and Andrew Fiorillo, and his mother, Joan Posey of York, Pennsylvania.
Tom was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to Richard and Joan (Posey) Edsell. He graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in history before joining the Peace Corps, serving in Morocco. He traveled the world, finally deciding to settle in New York City and receive a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. Several years of high-stakes law later, a happenstance business trip to the USSR led him to meet the love of his life. He was a passionate writer and linguist with a childhood love of archaeology, whose sense of humor and boisterous intelligence endeared him to all who knew him.
