W. Lloyd Southam ’37

W. Lloyd Southam ’37 died on March 25, 2008, in Arlington, Virginia.

Born in Dover, N.H., on February 20, 1914. Southam grew up in Massachusetts, attended Bowdoin, and was a member of Theta Delta Chi Fraternity. He was a graduate of the University of Idaho. He served as a lieutenant in the Navy during World War II and worked as an electrical engineer for the U.S. Navy Department until his retirement in 1974. He is survived by his wife Jean; two sons, Lloyd and Douglas; a daughter Nancy; and five grandchildren.
