Alexander Z. Gorondi ’61 died on February 1, 2018, in Luan Toro, La Pampa, Argentina.

With deep sorrow I communicate the death of my husband Alejandro Z. Gorondi. It happened on February 1, 2018, a few days after turning 80.

It was in our plans to make a trip to Maine this year. He had unforgettable memories of his years at the [College] and kept in touch with several of his former colleagues.

Our three children and also our grandchildren visited Bowdoin; they were delighted with the stories, anecdotes and as I said memories of Alex.
