Allan M. Golden ’53 died on September 8, 2013, in Middleborough, Massachusetts.
He was born in Boston on December 4, 1931, and prepared for college at Brookline (Mass.) High School and Proctor Academy. He was a member of Alpha Rho Upsilon fraternity. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1956 and served to lieutenant in the Naval Dental Corps, stationed in Hawaii at Kaneshe Bay. He practiced as a dentist in private practice for five years and then as an orthodontist. He was a member of the Delta Lodge of Masons A.F.&A.M. He is survived by daughter Susan Golden; son David Golden; longtime companion Dr. Amy B. Katzew; brother Roy Golden; and three grandchildren.
