Dana R. Strong ’72 died on January 6, 2024, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Dana R. Strong ’72

Dana Ruxton Strong,  age 73, of St. Louis Park, MN, passed away peacefully January 6th, 2024. Survived by children, Dana, Whitney (Andy) Frisco, Lauren (Allen) Strong; grandchildren, Clare, Karly, Ramona, and Layne; ex-wife Betty, sisters Ginny (Henry) Llop, Carol Hedberg, step-sister Deborah Shanahan; and many other friends as well. Preceded in death by parents, Timothy and Carol Fiske, Bill Strong, and twin brothe,r Lucian Strong. Dana was born in Minneapolis, a graduate of Blake School, and attended Bowdoin College in Maine. He was an active member of the St. Louis Park baseball community for many years, coaching, and serving as president of SLP Babe Ruth. He was a loving father, and will be missed dearly.
