David F. Scott ’67 died on November 9, 2023, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

David F. Scott ’67

Davis Folsom Scott was born April 23, 1948, in Bangor, Maine. He was the son of George William and Jean Elizabeth (Keddie) Scott.

He graduated from Presque High School in Presque Isle, Maine. He graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and his fraternity was Alpha Delta Phi.

David Scott is survived by: his wife, Kristin Ann (Baer) Scott; his son Christopher Keddie Scott, his second son, Jonathan Alexander Baer Scott, who joined the Church Triumphant on October 27, 2004; his brother, Timothy Gorham Scott; his niece, Amelia Elspeth Scott; and his granddaughter, Brooklynn Madison Scott.

Mr. Scott was a member and past chairman of the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Bowdoin Schools and board of directors of the Rainbow Swim Club, having served as secretary, treasurer, vice-president and president.

As a friend of Paxton Presbyterian Church he sang in the Chancel Choir for thirty years, and rang in the Paxton’s Hand Bell Choir.

He was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in District 6-0 Right of Way Administrator of Transportation and a commissioned notary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
