David G. Roundy ’57 died on December 11, 2017, in Danville, New Hampshire.

David Roundy, 82, of Danville, NH, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2017 with family by his side. He was born in Beverly, MA, April 15th, 1935 to the late Richard A. and Helen (Kimball) Roundy.
He graduated Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, and later served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by General Electric for 17 years. David owned, Yankee Tax Service in Wilbraham, MA and Carr Tax Service in West Springfield, MA. He raised his family in Ridgefield, CT and Wilbraham MA., before retiring to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL.
David was a man of few words with a kind heart. He loved sharing their cottage on Hancock Pond in Denmark, ME with family and friends. He enjoyed his golf games, softball, and water volleyball.
He is survived by the love of his life Jane (Parmenter) Roundy. They have been together since they were 14 years old; married for 62 years. His family includes his children Linda Lovell and her husband Phillip of Danville, NH, Gregory Roundy and his wife Diane of Rainbow City, AL; Deborah VanDyke of Seabrook, NH; Robert Roundy and his wife Donna of Agawam, MA; a brother Edward Roundy and his wife Martha of Wolfeboro, NH, along with his 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both parents, his brother Richard A. Roundy Jr., and sisters Marian Wright and Ruth Pelley.
