David K. Hunter ’57 died on April 13, 2022, in Seminole, Florida

David Keith Hunter, age 86, of Seminole, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. David was born May 11, 1935.

David K. Hunter was born in Presque Isle, ME, attended Mt. Hermon School, and came to Bowdoin from Mars Hill, ME. A physics major, he was a member of the freshman basketball team and was on the ski team for three years. A member of the Glee Club and Choir, he was also on his fraternity’s social committee. Commissioned through ROTC, he served to the grade of lst LT and was then employed by Westinghouse Electric for several years before focusing on business management ,which led to a position in a large European company in Poland. He is survived by his wife, Agnieszka, a son and daughter. His fraternity was Zeta Psi.
