Edward C. Craine ’46 died on October 1, 2021, in Dover Foxcroft, Maine

Dover-Foxcroft – Edward C. Craine, 96, husband of the late Pauline Denton Craine, died peacefully October 1, 2021. He was born August 12, 1925, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, the son of Thomas and Maude Craine of Sebec, Maine.
He attended local schools and graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1943. He then entered the military and served with the highly decorated 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment during WWII. He was very proud of his service. Ed later worked in the aerospace industry in inspection and quality control. He enjoyed a long retirement in both Florida and his much loved camp on Garland Pond in Sebec.
He is survived by his many nieces and nephews, and blessed with good friends who were always there for him. In addition to his wife, Ed was predeceased by his sisters, Patricia Navickis and Katherine Wright.
