Edwin C. Allen II ’64 died on February 21, 2010, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

He was born in Grosse Pointe, Mich., on September 13, 1942, and prepared for college at Needham (Mass.) High School. He attended Bowdoin from 1960 to 1962, a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and earned a bachelor of arts and bachelor science from Tufts University in 1965. A longtime business and technology consultant, he held several management positions at companies in Massachusetts, Illinois, and England. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Morris Allen; sister Susan Allen Hughes; sons David H. and Benjamin Allen; daughter Kristen Allen Johnson; and four grandchildren.
