Elizabeth Brown, former Dining Services staff, died on November 20, 2016, in Brunswick, Maine.

BOWDOINHAM and BRUNSWICK — Elizabeth N. Brown, 90 of Dionne Commons, died Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine. She was born in Topsham, Maine on July 19, 1926, the daughter and youngest child of Ada Davis Fickett and Henry Fickett.
She attended Brunswick Schools. In June of 1946, she married Kenneth “Brownie” Brown. They enjoyed taking yearly trips to visit relatives in Niagara Falls, NY, and especially enjoyed family camping trips. Kenneth died on July 6, 1988. Elizabeth worked for the Topsham Schools in the School Lunch Program, and later at Moulton Union at Bowdoin College until her retirement in 1988.
In 1988 she moved from Topsham to Bowdoinham to “The Estates” and enjoyed spending time with other residents, socializing, knitting or crocheting, having lunch, reading, and watching her favorite cooking shows.
Surviving is a daughter, Sarah A. Wilkins of Bath, three grandsons Christopher E. Escorsio, Matthew T. Escorsio, and Richard H. Escorsio, a nephew Donald Smith, and great nieces and nephews in New York.
