Ernest A. Belforti ’58 died on November 6, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Webster Ma / Morrisville Vt -Ernest A Belforti Passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015 at Community Hospice McGraw Center surrounded by his family.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Janis, son Michael of Vicenza, Italy and daughters Alison of Ponte Vedra, Florida and Andrea of South Burlington, Vermont. He is also survived by Michael’s wife Leslie-Anne Hinton and their two children, Tristan and Gavin.
Ernest was born in Framingham, Massachusetts to James and Olga Belforti who had both emigrated from Italy. He is predeceased by his older brother Edward Belforti of Framingham, but survived by his sister in law Lillian Belforti and her children, who he was close to, Robert Belforti, Cynthia Laurora, James Belforti and Susan Bennett.
He is a graduate of Bowdoin College ’58 where he was the captain of the football team and Boston College Law School ’63. Ernest practiced law in Worcester County for over 50 years. He was an enthusiastic member of his community and served as town moderator of Webster Massachusetts for almost two decades. He was a contributing member of the Lion’s Club of Webster and the Worcester Bar Association, presiding as President of both organizations. Ernest was passionate about traveling the world; he most enjoyed indulging in the natural surroundings and rich histories of the places he visited.
So very sorry to hear this. I used to love hearing his stories about Psi U when he and my father were roommates. You are all in my prayers.
