Fal de Saint Phalle, 74, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, died on February 28, 2021 as a result of a traffic accident in Ocala, Florida.

Fal was born in New York City on October 13, 1946, to parents Rosemond Frame and Thibaut de Saint Phalle. He attended Portsmouth Priory School ’64, Bowdoin College ’68 and Columbia Business School ’71. Fal was also well known for loving sub-zero camping equipment, small watercraft and cold beer.

Throughout his professional life Fal devoted time and resources to charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, community organizations such as the Score business mentorship program, and was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Fal is survived by his partner of twenty-two years, Grace Krachuk; his son Robert (Zoe Culbertson) and grandson Leo; his brothers Pierre (Ellen) and Marc (Karen); his sisters Therese and Diane Russell; his stepmother Mariana and stepsiblings Eileen Oakford (Scott), John Smith (Diane), Eleanor and Helen Smith; his adopted children Paul Krachuk (Melanie) and Coleen VanLue (Gordon) and adopted grandchildren Sophie, Samuel, David and Brian; as well as twelve nieces and nephews.

Fal was my boss at First Fidelity for a few years. He was so laid back at work and when he did the walk across America I was so very proud of him. I remember when he came into the bank afterwards with so many stories. And his feet!!!
    Rest In Peace Fal.
