Additional comments by Frank Beveridge ’56:

Fred “Foof” Ferber was a very close friend and Sigma Nu brother of mine. He came from Rockland, MA, and I grew up in Sharon, MA, which was close by. His family ran a men’s clothing shop on the main street and Fred and his brother Norman worked there until his graduation as well as on summer vacations. He was an excellent student and also lettered in baseball and track. Fred was pre-med and also made the Bowdoin baseball team. He was an excellent left-handed hitter.
