Dr. George John Condo, 70, of Harpswell died on January 5, 2023, in Harpswell, Maine. He was born on February 7, 1952, to Glendyce Hansinia and George Dennis Condo.

George worked as a research professor at Vanderbilt University and Bowdoin College before working at a local beloved bookstore. He enjoyed cooking and casual social gatherings with family and friends.

George is survived by his wife, Deborah Elizabeth Wood, his sister, Joyce, and his nephew, Mila.
