Gordon D. Larcom, Jr. ’54 died on September 2, 2023, in Casper, Wyoming.

Gordon (Skip) Larcom, Jr, 91, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023.
He was born to the late Gordon Larcom and Marjorie Elliott on May 17, 1932, in Boston, Massachusetts. Skip received a BA degree with honors from Bowdoin College in 1954 followed by an MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1958.
After graduation, Skip served ten years in the Navy, specializing in anesthesiology during which time he and his wife, Gail, welcomed three children: Cindy, Peter, and Melissa. He resigned his commission as lieutenant commander, and chief of anesthesia at Camp Pendleton Hospital. His family then settled in Casper, Wyoming, in 1967, where he practiced anesthesiology for twenty-three years. Upon retirement, Skip enjoyed many years of world travels with Gail, whitewater kayaking, skiing, hunting, and watercolor painting.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Gail Larcom; and his children: Cindy McKeon of Lynnfield, Massachusetts; Peter Larcom of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Melissa Larcom of Lafayette, Colorado. He also is survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; as well as his brothers, Richard Larcom and Roger Langley; and sister, Barbara Larcom.
