Holly D. Russell ’91 died on March 2, 2021 in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Holly Dineen Russell, 51, of Phoenixville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Paoli Hospital. She was the wife of Daniel J. Marinari. Born April 5, 1969, in Norristown, she was the daughter of Martha (Mayer) Russell and the late Joseph J. Maxwell Russell, Jr. After growing up locally in Schwenksville, PA, Holly attended Stratton Mountain Ski School in Vermont. She was a top-ranked slalom and giant slalom skier in the US and Canada, also competing successfully internationally. Following this success, she became captain of the ski team at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. After graduation, she ran the sponsorships for the Men’s Pro Ski tour and traveled the world. She was very athletic and loved sailing, tennis, and competing in equestrian shows. Later on in life, Holly became involved with her family business and worked at the Audubon Water Company. She then married Daniel Marinari and had two children. Holly loved spending time with her family and friends in Maine and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was truly a kind-hearted woman and always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Russell Marinari of Boothbay Harbor, ME, and Veronica Marinari of Phoenixville; her brothers, J. H. Russell and J. R. Russell, and many nieces and nephews.
