John D. Curran, Jr. ’53 died on December 24, 2023, in La Mesa, California.

John Davidson Curran, Jr., passed away on Christmas Eve, 2023, after losing his battle with COPD. He graduated in 1953 and joined the military towards the end of the Korean War.

He worked as a journalist with several local newspapers in Ipswich and other publications in New England, and later in New Mexico. He won many prizes and accolades for his journalism during his career.
