John D. Williams ’68 died on December 16, 2022, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

John David Williams, age 76, from Washington Island, Wisconsin, formerly of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, started his eternal life on December 16th, 2022, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loving family. John was the beloved husband of Dorothy “Dotty” Dunn Williams for fifty-two years. He was a devoted father to Margaret Williams Strom, Sarah Williams Mueller, John Carl Vogt Peters Williams, and James Brewster Williams (Holly). A loving grandfather to Rhys Mueller, Maxwell Lange, Finley Mueller, Kieran Mueller, Gavin Strom, Stuart Williams, Frederick Williams, Elsa Williams, and Creighton Williams. A dear brother of Jane Williams Reed and Barry James Williams (Philippa). Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents. James T. Williams and Carol G. Williams. John was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jim and Carol Williams on August 9th, 1946. He attended Wauwatosa East High School and graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. He married Dotty in Portland, Maine. He was president of the Spence Corporation, based in Milwaukee. He was an elder and taught Sunday School at Falls OPC and Bethel Church. He served on the board for Westminster Theological Seminary and on the OPC Foreign Missions Committee. He worked with the foundation at Aurora St. Luke’s on the Healing Garden project.
