John N. Marshall ’50

John N. Marshall ’50 died on April 14, 2019, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

John Nelson Marshall born September 11, 1928, in Providence, Rhode Island, died peacefully on April 14, 2019. Jack grew up in Maine and graduated from Gould Academy and Bowdoin College. In 1950 he was stationed in England with the 55th Fighter Bomber Squadron. In 1954, he was honorably discharged as Airman Second Class. Afterwards he received his CPA from Boston College. Jack loved his family, traveling, and the Boston Red Sox. He was an avid marathon runner. He was a controller for Cinerama Hotels and for Ono Construction. Predeceased by his parents: James Marshall, Eva Marshall, and Bertha Marshall, his sister, Jeane Sawyer, and his brothers: Richard B. Marshall and Louis A. Wood. He is survived by his wife, sister-in-law, Joan Marshall, and nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews in Maine and Hawaii.
