Kenneth E. Toliver ’73 died on August 19, 2018, in Dallas, Texas.

Dallas, Texas – Kenneth Toliver (Kenny) was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 1, 1950, to parents Archie and Vera Toliver. Growing up he attended Central Baptist Church and was a member of the junior choir. His initial education was in the Pittsburgh Public School District, Miller Elementary School, and Fifth Avenue High School, where he played a trumpet, lettered in football and basketball as well. He was also a member of the Groove Phi Groove Fraternity. After college he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he worked at Stroh’s Brewery and a Ford assembly plant. When he became disabled he moved to Texas to be close to his brother Rick and sister-in-law, Lorraine. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Carol, and brother Michael. Left to mourn are his brother and sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends, and caregivers that he developed in Texas. He will be missed.
