Kristin Ann (Guida) Todd, 45, of Hamilton, MA, beloved wife of Matthew Patrick Todd, passed away November 30th, 2022, at Beverly Hospital with her husband by her side. She had a prolonged illness with breast cancer.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Patrick “Buzz” and Sandra (Putnam) Guida. She was raised and educated in Barrington, Rhode Island and was a graduate of Barrington High School, class of 1995. She was an avid skier and participated in high school and AAU gymnastics; she attained All State on the balance beam. She continued her education at Bowdoin College, with a major in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. She graduated Magna cum laude in 1999. Kristin earned a master’s degree in Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University, School of Medicine in 2005. During her education she studied abroad in Spain and did medical missions in Ecuador and Guatemala. She had an adventurous soul.

As a physician assistant, Kristin demonstrated a sincere love for her life’s work and her patients. She was a hardworking professional, associated with H. Goldberg Dermatology in Swampscott and most recently as an integral member of the team at Northeast Dermatology Associates in the Haverhill and North Andover offices. She was board certified with the NCCPA and had been awarded diplomat fellow status by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She was truly passionate about helping people. Her bedside manner was thoughtful and comforting and she was thoroughly engaged in her patients’ care. Even in the midst of her own illness with cancer, she found the time and made the effort to take special care of her patients. It was part of who she was professionally and personally; gentle, kind and caring.

Kristin was a devoted and dedicated wife, loving mother and wonderful daughter; her family was always first and foremost in her life. Kristin took great pride in her family, showering them with love. She relished the time she spent with her husband, Matthew, and sons, Ethan and Owen; highlighted each April with annual trips to Florida. Her husband Matthew was a loving partner and they were lucky to have spent seventeen years together. Loyal and trustworthy, their love was a great example of what a union should be. They were there for each other through the good and bad times. Ethan and Owen were Kristin’s pride and joy. She just loved spending time and talking with them. She enjoyed watching them grow into young men.

Kristin had breast cancer for the past four years and did not let it define her. Throughout her illness she kept her dignity and grace. She was so much more than her illness. Her strength has always shown through. She was such a wonderful person, and her family will forever be grateful for the love and life she shared with them.

Kristin is survived by her loving husband, Matthew, and their sons, Ethan and Owen, of Hamilton; her parents, Patrick “Buzz” and Sandra of Barrington, RI; her brother, Ross Guida of Boston, MA; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Patrick Todd of Bradford, MA; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alyson and John Dubzinski; and her niece and nephew, Anna and James of Andover, MA; and the beloved family dog, Cooper.
