Leonard J. Hassler G’66 died June 26, 2012, in New Bern, N.C. He was a star athlete and graduate of Dwight Morrow High and of Yale University in 1958. He taught math and coached several sports at private schools in New England, California, and Hawaii. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Evelyn; daughter Sheryl Hassler-Moclock; son Leonard James Jr.; step-daughter Allison Martin; stepson Herbert Martin; brother Arthur Hassler; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased in 1967 by his first wife, Barbara Axt.
