Leonidas C. Seferlis ’89

Leonidas C. Seferlis ’89 died on October 14, 2009, in Washington, D.C.

He was born on June 13, 1967, in Washington, D.C., and prepared for college at St. Alban’s School. At Bowdoin, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, he was awarded the Sewall Latin Prize as a sophomore, and graduated cum laude. He spent his senior year abroad at the London School of Economics. An avid cyclist, he worked as a bike messenger and participated in many local races. He also loved scuba diving, downhill skiing and reading. He is survived by a brother, Clift Andrus Seferlis.

    this is still the smartest guy i have ever run across. bar none. he fixed me. just knowing him allowed me to have a sane life. i regret not paying more attention but still completely happy our paths crossed. i miss him because warmth and generosity he gave naturally no longer exists in this world.
