Lillian Grover Robinson

Lillian Grover Robinson, a former financial aid office staff member, died July 3, 2015, in Ft. Myers, Florida.

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lillian Grover Robinson, 89, died on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 surrounded by her daughter and two dogs. Born Nov. 14, 1925, daughter of Fred S. and Marie (Bouvier) Liberty, she grew up in North Yarmouth, Maine, the youngest of 15 children. A graduate of Greely High School and Northeast Business School, she was married to Stanley R. Grover and worked for many years as head teller of Norway Savings Bank. When her husband was transferred to Brunswick she became a financial aid officer at Bowdoin College.

After earning her degree in accounting from University of Maine at Augusta she worked as an accountant in the Freeport School System. She married Spencer Robinson in 1994 and they lived in Maine, Arizona, and Florida.
She was predeceased by: Stanley R. Grover, Spencer Robinson, and her eldest son, Stanley C. Grover who died on June 13, 2015. She is survived by her older sister, Irene Brown of Cumberland, ME; her son and his wife, Terry and Cindy Grover of South Hadley, Mass.; her daughter Darlene Grover of Ft. Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
