South Orange, NJ — Maurice A. Lehrman, age 86, of South Orange, NJ, died unexpectedly, on Tuesday, in the Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. Born in Boston, he graduated from Portland Maine High School, Bowdoin College in Maine and received his degree in accounting from Bentley College in Boston. He had resided in NJ for the past 30 years and was formerly from Lynn. A CPA and Controller he was a financial executive with the Zayre Corp., and various other corporations in Manhattan, NY. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. A member of the AICPA. Beloved husband of Norma (Schulte) Lehrman. Devoted mother of Deborah L. and her husband David Berndtson of Vienna, VA, Steven J. Lehrman of Los Angeles, Calif., Paul B. and his wife Shelley Lehrman of Solon, OH. Cherished grandfather of Aaron and Rachel Berndtson, Benjamin, Eliana, and Gabriella Lehrman. Loving brother of the late Ella Garber.
