Nada C. Flint

Nada C. Flint, a long-time secretary at Bowdoin, died on March 20, 2014, in Grand Island, Florida.

She was born in Passadumkeag on March 3, 1926. She started at Bowdoin in 1965 as a switchboard operator in Moulton Union and, after a number of positions, ended her career in 1990 as an administrative secretary, still in Moulton Union. She was named an honorary member of the Bowdoin Alumni Association in recognition of her many years of service to the College. In retirement, she moved to Florida, where she pursued her interest in painting and was a member of the Society of Decorative Painting. She is survived by daughters Gail Rioux, Jennifer Flint, and Lorna Soule; four grandchildren; and three great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-four years, Lloyd Flint.
